We are taking a trip to Belize, what/how much food and drink can we take through customs?
We are staying in a resort on an island and would prefer not to have to pay resort prices for food and drink the whole time we are in Belize. What kinds of restrictions are there on the amount and/or types of food, drinks and liquor we can take with us?
Its not worth the trouble to take it with you. With all the restrictions on liquids and customs.
When you get to the Balize Airport, grab a taxi and go to a local grocery store and buy your supplies there then take it with you to the island. The local airlines, which you will fly to the island, could care less what you take with you.
It is only the US that has all those restrictions.
As for pricing, there isn't enough difference to make the effort.
